Ricochet fought AJ Styles at Extreme Rules where the former lost the United States Championship. Since winning the US Title at Stomping Grounds, Ricochet defended the belt on RAW. Though he successfully defended the belt on RAW, he failed to do the same at Extreme Rules.
Ricochet was part of the Six-Man Tag Team Match on the Red Brand this week. The former US Champion teamed up with the Usos to take on the team of Robert Roode and the Revival. Ricochet's team won the bout but we witnessed a chaotic scene after the match when The Club came out to attack Ricochet, and the Usos tried to save the latter.
Judging by the scenario, Ricochet is expected to face Styles at SummerSlam, however, Gallows and Anderson could be two big obstacles for Ricochet. Following the Tag Team Match on RAW, the Usos are likely to become a the back-ups of the former North American Champion. Moreover, Gallows and Anderson had issues with the Usos in the past.
