WWE Stomping Grounds is in the rearview mirror now. While there was a huge outcry all over the Internet on how WWE booked Stomping Grounds, the show exceeded expectations. Yes, WWE deserves a lot of credit on how things unfolded last night at Stomping Grounds.

As of late, WWE is facing huge criticism over recycled and repetitive bookings. Furthermore, the low viewership plus the increasing competition has made matter worse for the company. Thus, WWE is in dire need of some fresh and solid feuds with new faces and storylines and this week might be the beginning of a few of them.

Yes, given a lot of feuds concluded last night at Stomping Grounds, expect WWE to start laying down the breadcrumbs for a few potential feuds this week on the upcoming episode of Raw and SmackDown.

So, without further ado, in this article, we take a look at 3 blockbuster feuds which could start in WWE this week.

#3 Alexa Bliss vs Nikki Cross

This was always coming
This was always coming

Ever since the duo of Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss were teamed up together, a potential feud between the duo was always on the cards. And it seems the time might finally have come.

Alexa Bliss faced Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship at Stomping Grounds. However, her dream of becoming the new Women's Champion of the blue brand came shattering down after she got distracted from Cross running in the ring to grab everyone's attention, creating a weird and awkward spot.

Thus, the upcoming episode of Raw could feature a frustrated and infuriated Bliss turning on Nikki to absolutely decimate her. She could lay waste to Cross for costing her the Women's title, laying down the breadcrumbs for a potential feud in the process. This could then result in a potential matchup between the duo at Extreme Rules.

#2 Ricochet vs AJ Styles

Ricochet defeated Samoa Joe at Stomping Grounds to become the new US Champion. However, much to the amusement of the entire WWE Universe, he got confronted by AJ Styles during a photo shoot backstage. Furthermore, WWE went on to confirm AJ Styles vs Ricochet for the upcoming episode of Raw. Thus, a potential feud looks to be on the cards.

However, there are chances that WWE just teases us with this one and saves it for Summerslam 2019. Yes, WWE could have Samoa Joe invoke go on to attack Ricochet tonight on Raw to set up a rematch at Extreme Rules. Nonetheless, given how things unfolded last night, one should expect a Styles vs Ricochet feud sooner than later.

A dream feud between the duo would not only grab a lot of eyeballs but would also make the mid-card of the red brand relevant again.

#1 Finn Balor vs Aleister Black

Aleister Black's promo in which he has been pleading and urging Superstars to step up and face him has been the talk of the town lately. While there have been speculations on potential names stepping up to answer his call, Finn Balor looks a little ahead in the race than the rest.

It should be noted that Balor has not been part of any major storyline recently. As a matter of fact, he did not even feature at Stomping Grounds and it would not be wrong to say that WWE has been overlooking the current Intercontinental Champion lately.

However, all this could change on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. WWE could have Finn Balor step up to answer Black's call to lay down the foundation for a mouthwatering feud for the Intercontinental Championship.

To say that this would be a blockbuster feud will be quite an understatement. Yes, Balor vs Black has the perfect ingredients to blow off all charts. Personally, I am dying to see The Demon King vs Aleister Black for Intercontinental title at Summerslam 2019.
