3 bonkers things WWE teased this week on Raw

Will Kurt Angle replace Braun Strowman in his match against Constable Corbin at TLC?
Will Kurt Angle replace Braun Strowman in his match against Constable Corbin at TLC?

The recent episode of Monday Night Raw received mixed to positive reviews from the WWE Universe.

Even though a few segments (one featuring Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks, for example) were repetitive from last week, there were a few shocks and surprises (Drew McIntyre getting pinned for the first time since his return on the main roster) and some interesting segments, so it was far better than last week's disappointment. In fact, one could clearly see how improved and effective Dean Ambrose's promo was compared to the last week.

WWE continued building the existing storylines for TLC. However, given TLC is all about stipulations, it has not added stipulations to most of the matches for TLC, as of now (though maybe this will change next week). Also, it did leave the looming question of whether Strowman is really fit for TLC unanswered.

Apart from doing most of the things right, WWE did tease us with a few crazy things, last night on Raw.

So without further ado, let's look at 3 bonkers things WWE teased this week on Raw.

#3 WWE Women's Tag Team Championship could be coming very soon

During the open Q and A segment on Raw, the duo teased the much-awaited tag titles

During the open forum segment featuring Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Sasha Banks, The Hugger replied to a fan's question about their future plans as they would like to become the first tag team champions of the Women's division.

And so, WWE stealthily teased us with the Women's tag titles once again.

It was expected that WWE would probably reveal the titles at Evolution, but now it seems it might not be long before WWE finally unveils it.

With the whole women's division chasing just two titles, a few superstars get overlooked, so the tag team titles in the mid-card could easily be the solution to that problem.

#2 Sasha Banks and Bayley against Lita and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania

In the same open forum segment where WWE teased the Women's Tag Team Championship once again, Bayley and Banks went to tease a potential tag-team match against Lita and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 35.

When replying to a fan's question on whom they would like to face next, the duo replied that they would like to go against Trish and Lita, teasing a potential matchup for WrestleMania in the process.

While Lita and Trish both last appeared at the first ever all women's pay per view Evolution, there was also room for another bout, and WWE might have just laid down the breadcrumbs last night on Raw.

Lita and Stratus are all-time greats when it comes to the Women's division, and this new generation of superstars with the likes of Bayley and Banks going on against them at the Grandest Stage of Them All would be "best for business".

#1 Kurt Angle might replace Braun Strowman at TLC

After a beatdown at the hands of Drew McIntyre, Angle has not been seen on WWE TV

Kurt Angle disappeared from WWE TV after his loss at the hands of Drew McIntyre before Survivor Series. However, amidst all the Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin fiasco, people seemed to have forgotten about the former Olympic gold medalist.

During the "Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night" segment this week on Raw, Corbin presented the Scottish Psychopath with a gold medal, saying Drew played a vital role in getting rid of former Olympic gold medalist.

And so, it seemed that WWE seems to remind us that Angle is far from done with Corbin and he might pay a surprise visit at TLC to replace Braun Strowman in his match against Constable Corbin.

Given he is the legit General Manager of Raw, it seems totally apt that he replaces Strowman at TLC to fight for his job.
