In this article, we will discuss three wrestlers who could challenge Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Title.

Becky Lynch returned to WWE at WrestleMania 41 after a lengthy hiatus. The Man teamed up with Lyra Valkyria to defeat Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, Lynch wasn’t Valkyria’s original partner. Instead, she had replaced Bayley, who got injured in a backstage ambush.

When The Judgment Day reclaimed the title on the RAW after ‘Mania, Lynch turned heel and attacked Valkyria for being pinned. The Man also revealed that she was the one who took out Bayley to enter The Show of Shows in her place. Now, the four-time Women’s Champion could get back at The Man and aim to win the Women’s Intercontinental Title.

#2. Asuka is awaiting a spectacular WWE return

Asuka was last seen at the 2024 Backlash, where she dropped the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Kairi Sane to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. The 43-year-old veteran has been down with a knee injury since and had to be removed from last year’s Queen of the Ring Tournament.

Although there isn’t a clear date available for her return so far, The Empress of Tomorrow could challenge Becky Lynch whenever she returns. Especially since she is one of The Man’s fiercest rivals, the Women’s Intercontinental Championship picture would be the perfect spot to bring the Japanese star back into the spotlight after a long injury hiatus.

#1. Roxanne Perez has all the momentum right now

Roxanne Perez has had a great year so far. The Prodigy became the woman to record the longest in-ring time in the history of the Women’s Royal Rumble Match this year by lasting for 67 minutes and 47 seconds. She has also secured herself a great storyline by becoming an unofficial member of The Judgment Day.

Interestingly, the former Rox-C had punched her ticket to the Money in the Bank ladder match after defeating Natalya and Becky Lynch. The Man was attacked and pulled out of the ring by Lyra Valkyria in the final moments of the qualifying bout, which allowed Perez to pin The Queen of Harts after a Pop Rox.

Now, she may want to step on the toes of Becky Lynch once again and challenge her for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Moreover, she may also have Finn Balor in her corner to help her out. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for The Man with a new title around her waist.
