#1 Kofi Kingston - WWE Championship

Kofi Kingston's WWE title defense at Clash of Champions may be his maiden WWE Title reign's swan-song.

There are a lot of factors that point at a 14th World Title reign for Randy Orton. Fox Sports want better ratings from SmackDown Live and the current product is unfortunately not drawing it. Even the latest episode Smackdown Live drew just over 2 million views, well short of Fox's demand of 3.3 million viewers on average. Such a low rating might force WWE to put the title on a more mainstream WWE Superstar - Randy Orton.

A change in the top Champion is not guaranteed to generate ratings out of scratch, but it could help in the long run. Kofi Kingston's reign has been a bit of stale as of late and thus, one should not be surprised if we get a new WWE Champion at Clash of Champions.
