3 Championship Belts That Should Exist in WWE

1. Unified Universal/WWE Championship

After
After the brand split, SmackDown was given the WWE title whereas Raw gave birth to the Universal title.

Currently, the two shows have their own heavyweight champion. On one hand, Raw boasts the Universal Championship, whereas on the other hand, Smackdown flaunts the WWE Championship. However, two heavyweight belts in the same promotion makes the least sense.

Neither belt feels as prestigious as it should, thanks to the fact the other show has an equally significant counterpart. Therefore, WWE should unify the two belts to retain the true importance of the top title in the company.

Each brand already has its own mid-card title in the form of Raw's Intercontinental Championship and SmackDown's United States Championship, which is more than enough for the wrestlers. Two top men's prize only make things more complicated for the fans as no one can argue about who the top male wrester is due to there being two of them technically.

Unifying the twin titles of the two brands would also help reduce the title match inflation on the pay-per-view matchcards.
