Kofi Kingston isn't as experienced with using a steel chair as Randy Orton
Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton are definitely going to collide at Clash of Champions in a few weeks time since the main feud revolving around the WWE Championship right now includes both men as well as The New Day and The Revival.

After The Revival attacked Xavier Woods on Monday Night Raw and left him "injured" Kofi Kingston decided that he needed to exact some revenge on SmackDown Live, so he attacked Randy Orton from behind during a promo before he then decided to acquire the use of a chair.
The Revival injured Xavier Woods leg on Raw, so Kingston looked to do the same to Randy Orton, but unlike The Viper, Kingston hasn't got a lot of experience setting up a chair on someone's leg, which is why the WWE Champion struggled with which way round the chair needed to go on Orton's leg.

Of course, WWE stars know how to do these moves safely, which is why Kingston took his time and ensured that it was correctly applied rather than rushing and injuring Orton.
