3 Female superstars Vince McMahon isn't a fan of and 3 he is

It's been interesting to see how Vince McMahon has adapted to the rise of the women in WWE over the last four years or so. Before 2015, it was unthinkable that the women would reach the place they have in such short time.

In fact, you could even argue that in 2015, the way things were going, it was hard to imagine that women would be headlining WrestleMania as soon as 2019. Many believed that while women headlining WrestleMania would be inevitable, it would be something that would likely happen in the next generation of female superstars, and not the current one.

No doubt, that's where Ronda Rousey has played a big impact. Her objective of elevating the women in WWE has worked a great deal, and in 2019, we very well could see the women headlining the grandest stage of them all.

While we know that McMahon is a fan of Rousey, we also know that there are a few superstars on the female division he definitely isn't a fan of. We take a look.

#3. Isn't a fan of - Dana Brooke

This one was a turnaround for Vince McMahon. It's believed that in 2016 when Dana Brooke debuted and eventually aligned with Charlotte Flair while she was RAW Women's Champion, Vince McMahon was extremely high on her.

In fact, there were rumours stating that Sasha Banks and Bayley were just "pawns" in a bigger story between Brooke and Charlotte Flair. She was set to receive a "Roman Reigns" type of push, but it seems that McMahon soon realized that she wasn't anywhere near the level of the other female stars, and the plan was soon scrapped.

Since then, she's been more or less enhancement talent, or she's hardly appeared on WWE television at all, something that they tried to make into a storyline.

#3. Is a fan of - Alexa Bliss

Little Miss Bliss announces her guest…

This should be an obvious pick just based on how hard she was pushed between post-summer 2016 to the summer of 2018. Those two years saw sheer dominance from Alexa Bliss, who was always involved in the RAW Women's Championship picture, whichever brand she was in and every single PPV as well.

We don't really blame McMahon, because Bliss is a very marketable star. She's good looking, has a charming persona and is by far the best on the mic in the WWE Women's division.

We all know how much of a difference character work can make. Despite concussions setting her back for a few months towards the end of 2018 and early 2019, there's no doubt that at some point, Bliss will re-enter the title picture, whether she's on RAW or SmackDown.

Moreover, she was also the first person to become both RAW and SmackDown Women's Champion.

#2. Isn't a fan of - Alicia Fox

This might be a bit surprising to some because of Alicia Fox's tenure with the company. This isn't to say that McMahon doesn't respect Fox, because she's been one of the longest-tenured employees on the current roster, male or female.

It's not often that we've seen women in WWE stick around for so long, and the fact of the matter is that Fox doesn't have too many accolades to her name as well. Perhaps it's because it's believed that she has a role in the company, and that's more as an enhancement talent.

However, given that she does have a good look and has proved that she can go in the ring, it is a bit surprising that she hasn't gotten even a slight push post-2015. With a different character, there's no doubt that she could be a much more marketable star. However, she's clearly not given that level of importance by McMahon.

#2. Is a fan of - Charlotte Flair

Just the name alone would be enough for McMahon to be a fan of Charlotte Flair. However, his respect for her and fandom for her goes beyond just her surname. In her time with the company, Charlotte has shown such rapid improvement that she's drawn comparisons to Kurt Angle in terms of quickly picking up the business.

It's hard to imagine that Charlotte has only been with the company for a little over 6 years. In that time, she started off green, developed, become an NXT Women's Champion, a Divas Champion and then a multi-time RAW and SmackDown Women's Champion.

Whether you like her or not, she is a bonafide main event star, and there are only going to be more accolades that she'll earn throughout her career. She's what you call a "lifer", so there are going to be many, many more championships for The Queen.

#1. Isn't a fan of - Bayley

Given that she's the first-ever WWE Women's Tag Team Champion (along with Sasha Banks), why wouldn't Vince McMahon be a fan of her?

With regards to the tag titles, the simple answer is that there was no better option for inaugural champions. In many ways, it felt like the titles were made for Banks & Bayley. Even then, Bayley had a solid start to her main roster career, winning the RAW Women's Championship and successfully defending it at WrestleMania.

However, with Alexa Bliss moving to RAW in 2017, Bayley dropped the title to her in humiliating fashion and was completely discarded from the title picture. As much as WWE fans adore Bayley, especially those following her from NXT, the sad reality is that McMahon really doesn't see Bayley as a singles star on the same level as the other top women.

Not that she won't win more titles in the future, but her place in McMahon's books is clear.

#1. Is a fan of - Becky Lynch

This is another turnaround in this list - but for the good. Over the last year or so, Becky Lynch has more than just impressed Vince McMahon. She went from not being featured at all to potentially main eventing WrestleMania.

She was always viewed as a useful asset - especially if Sasha Banks or Charlotte got injured. However, she was clearly viewed as the "third choice" between the three after their 2015 call-up.

Despite being the first-ever SmackDown Women's Champion, she hadn't won the title again until two years later. However, when she did, it was with an entirely new persona altogether. It's clear that Vince McMahon is a fan of The Man and is impressed with how she's taken the ball and run with it. The reactions that she's gotten over the last few months, especially since Summerslam 2018 should tell the whole story.
