Shane McMahon is old school when it comes to promos which means that much of the time The Best in the World will backtrack and repeat his lines when he knows that he's said something wrong rather than continuing and having the WWE Universe point out his error.
Being a Commissioner and delivering promos on a regular basis hasn't made him immune to errors since this week McMahon delivered one on the titantron to Roman Reigns where he was forced to backtrack after evidentally put too many words into a planned sentence.
Shane wasn't the only one who tripped over his words this week since Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan did the same thing when they were handed a mic, but their errors were much less noticeable since they didn't backtrack and point out the error that they had made.
