The stakes were high for the final segment of the night because Lana was set to get married to Bobby Lashley. Like most on-screen marriages in WWE, it also had a bizarre ending, as a number of names crashed the wedding. While Rusev was an expected name to spoil the party, Liv Morgan was a shocking name to be unveiled, taking the storyline in a new direction.
First, an unknown man interfered in the segment, claiming to be Lana's first husband, and then an unknown woman showed up calling herself Bobby Lashley's first wife. If it wasn't enough, Liv Morgan, who has been delivering interesting promos with her new gimmick in recent weeks, came out alleging a love affair with Lana. Finally, Rusev popped out of the wedding cake and attacked Lashley.
Since Rusev and Liv Morgan stood tall to end the segment, they certainly hinted at a new alliance against Lana and Lashley. Morgan could return to in-ring action by teaming up with Rusev in a Mixed Tag Team match. Moreover, a romantic storyline between Rusev and Liv Morgan can't be ruled out.
