Many thought that upon Alexa Bliss' return, she will be inserted straight into the SmackDown Women's Championship picture but that has not happened, has it? Instead, the plans for The Goddess at the moment seem to be going forward with Nikki Cross as a tag team.
To be very honest, this doesn't really make sense. Alexa Bliss is a beloved star and the SmackDown Women's Championship picture is vacant, hence, there is every reason for the former SmackDown Women's Champion to be given a go at Bayley.
But, for the worse, that doesn't seem to be the case and Vince McMahon clearly has different plans for The Goddess. Making them the Women's Tag Team Champions again would be what Vince might be contemplating.
Nevertheless, it would be great to see Bliss going on a singles run again but that isn't happening in the near future.
