3 Huge WWE feuds that could start soon (16 September 2019)

One of the most highly anticipated pay-per-views of the year, WWE Clash of Champions is now in the rear-view mirror and to be honest, what a crazy, crazy night it was. Yes, as a matter of fact, the event received positive reviews from both fans and critics.

Be it Seth Rollins defeating Braun Strowman in probably the match of the night to retain the Universal Championship or Becky Lynch going bonkers on Sasha Banks to end their match in a no contest, the show exceeded expectations. On the other hand, with The Fiend attacking Seth Rollins after his Universal Championship match and Harper returning to help Rowan prevail over Roman Reigns, the show had its fair share of shocks and surprises.

All in all, this has been one of the best pay-per-views of 2019 and WWE deserves a lot of credit for the same.

While WWE laid down the breadcrumbs for an epic feud for the Universal Title last night, expect creative to do the same in the coming days, especially given the fact a few major feuds concluded last night.

In this article, we are going to take a look at 3 such feuds which could start in WWE very soon.

#3 Brock Lesnar vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship

Do you want to see Brock back?
Do you want to see Brock back?

Kofi Kingston defeated 'The Viper' Randy Orton clean to retain the WWE Championship and it will be interesting to see who will rise as Kofi's next challenger in the upcoming days.

One such name could be 'The Beast Incarnate' Brock Lesnar. Yes, as SmackDown will be moving to FOX on October 4th, WWE would like to kick things off with a marquee feud featuring their trusted part-timer and The Ultimate Underdog.

Furthermore, given the recent history between the duo, a feud for the WWE Championship would make complete sense.

While this feud would certainly boost ratings by spicing things up on the Blue Brand - WWE needs that desperately - and this might just make Kofi's reign relevant again.

#2 Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan vs Rowan and Harper

Luke Harper is back

The former Wyatt Family member and One half of The Bludgeon Brothers, Harper made a surprising return last night to help Rowan defeat Roman Reigns in a No DQ match.

While a huge feud between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan was speculated to take place after the Clash of Champions, it seems WWE has put that plan aside, at least for the time being.

However, fans shouldn't give up just yet, as we could be in for a blockbuster tag-team matchup. Yes, one should not forget that after attacking Reigns, Rowan went on to attack and humiliate his former partner Bryan, as well. Thus, given how things unfolded last night, creative could have Bryan turn face(if he has not already) to team up with Reigns to take on Rowan and Harper in a huge tag team matchup.

Furthermore, a heel turn for either of the babyfaces could then further lead this into the highly anticipated Reigns vs Bryan at Royal Rumble or even a match at WrestleMania 36.

#1 Seth Rollins vs The Fiend for the Universal Championship

This will be a fascinating battle
This will be a fascinating battle

Seth Rollins defeated Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions to retain the Universal Championship in what easily was the match of the night. However, as expected, The Fiend paid a surprise visit to attack the former Architect of The Shield.

Wyatt hit a devastating Sister Abigail followed by the Mandible Claw to stand tall over Rollins.

While The Fiend is all but guaranteed to feature in a Universal Championship match at Hell in a Cell, creative went on to lay down the breadcrumbs for the feud last night.

The Fiend taking on Seth Rollins would certainly spice things up on the red brand. I mean, who would not like to see The Beastslayer getting pushed to his extreme physical and mental limits? While this would certainly boost the ratings, it has both the capacity and the capability to become the feud of the year, if WWE books it right.
