Clash of Champions 2019 is in the rearview mirror now and WWE has well and truly started gearing up for its next pay-per-view- Hell in a Cell. Scheduled for October 6, 2019, the event will emanate from Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

After the huge success of the recently concluded Clash of Champions, WWE is riding high on momentum and it would like to continue doing the good work, leading up to the pay-per-view.

On the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced two huge matches - Seth Rollins vs The Fiend for the Universal Championship, and Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks for the Raw Women's Championship, for October 6.

It should be noted that both these matches are going to take place inside the hellish structure. Furthermore, given the recent turn of events, expect WWE's ceeative team to book a few high profile clashes in the coming weeks.

In this article, we are going to take a look at 3 such huge matches, WWE could be planning for Hell in a Cell 2019.

#3 Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs Harper and Rowan in a Tag Team matchup

It looks totally on the cards.
It looks totally on the cards.

While it was speculated that a high-profile feud between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan would kick-off after Clash of Champions, it seems WWE has some other plans, at least for the time being.

After making a shocking return at Clash of Champions to help Rowan secure a major win over Reigns, Harper once again joined forces with his former partner to decimate both Bryan and Reigns on the last episode of SmackDown.

Thus, there is no denying the fact that WWE has thrown the breadcrumbs for a potential epic tag team matchup for Hell in a Cell.

Given the stature of Superstars involved in this feud, it will surely help WWE boost viewership.

#2 Bayley vs Charlotte Flair vs Carmella in a triple threat matchup for the SmackDown Women's Championship

A huge push seems on the cards for Carmella
A huge push seems on the cards for Carmella

On the most recent episode of SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair went up against Sasha Banks in a one-on-one matchup. However, the current SmackDown Women's Champion, Bayley, soon interfered in the match to hand over a win via DQ to The Queen. The heel duo then ganged up on Charlotte Flair only for Carmella to show up and make the save.

Thus, it seems WWE might go on to award a huge push to Carmella in the Women's Title scene on the blue brand. Given how things unfolded this week, WWE may have teased an epic triple threat matchup on October 6.

While Carmella's insertion in the title picture has left fans divided, I, personally feel that WWE deserves a lot of credit for the same. There is no denying the fact that she is well and truly over among fans. Furthermore, her charismatic personality and smooth skillset would certainly compliment Flair's aggression and Bayley's agility.

On the other hand, she has proven herself time and again inside the WWE ring. Given it will be a three-way feud there would not be much pressure/load on Carmella's shoulders, and who knows, that might just bring the best out of her.

#1 Kofi Kingston vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship

This could be on the cards
This could be on the cards

Brock Lesnar made a stunning return this week on SmackDown to challenge Kofi Kingston for a match with the WWE Championship on the line. While Kofi went on to accept the challenge, he was laid out by a devastating F5 from the former Universal Champion.

Moments later, WWE went on to officially announce that Brock Lesnar will be taking on Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship when SmackDown debuts on FOX on October 4.

While this recent angle would certainly act as a selling point and keep people hooked, I, personally don't see WWE putting this feud to bed with just a one-off match. Even if Lesnar goes on to become the new Champ (which is highly speculated),WWE could have Kofi enforce his rematch clause to get another shot at Lesnar.

Thus, come what may, a rematch seems highly likely and given this high-profile match takes place two days prior to Hell in a Cell, WWE could have both these men square off once again on October 6 (maybe, inside the hellish structure) to conclude the feud.

Who knows, WWE could even have Lesnar go berserk, before the start of the match, to absolutely decimate Kingston. This would then set up the rematch beautifully for October 6.
