Becky Lynch was able to walk out of Extreme Rules with the Raw Women's Championship which meant that she needed a new challenger for her title. A fatal four-way elimination match took place on Monday Night Raw which saw Natalya become the new challenger for Lynch's title, but it was a long process.
Alexa Bliss was obviously not well enough to be in the match and the bout itself lasted much longer than it should have. Carmella was eliminated early and even though Mella wasn't doing anything at ringside the referee was distracted and completely missed Alexa Bliss attempting to pin Naomi and pick up another elimination.
The referee apologized after he missed the pinfall attempt and the former Women's Champion was obviously annoyed but was able to continue the match but was forced to tap by Natalya.
