There are a lot of rumors circulating that Finn Balor is in line for a major push.

Wrestlemania 35 is right around the corner and the card has been stacking up pretty nicely. A Wrestlemania without an Intercontinental Championship match will not feel complete. However, with just 3 weeks away from the Grandest Stage of Them All, there still lies confusion regarding what WWE is planning for the prestigious Title at the event.

The current champion is Bobby Lashley, who is in his second reign. He dethroned Finn Balor last week to recapture the strap. Tonight on Raw, Lashley and his manager/partner, Lio Rush will be squaring off against Finn Balor and a mystery partner of his choosing. This tag team match will likely set up the Intercontinental title match at Wrestlemania.

Now, there are a lot of possibilities regarding who can be Finn Balor's mystery partner tonight. From obvious picks to exciting returns, this match has got many people talking about it.

So, without any further ado, here is a list of 3 Superstars who can aid Finn Balor tonight against Fhe Dominator and his Motivator.

#3 Braun Strowman:

Balor and Strowman are two of the most over Superstars on Raw currently.
Balor and Strowman are two of the most over Superstars on Raw currently.

If Braun Strowman is revealed to be Finn Balor's partner tonight, it shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. Strowman and Balor have been teaming up on and off for the past several months. The alliance was halted temporarily in August due to Strowman turning heel. However, both Superstars ended up patching things up after all. Even a few weeks ago, we saw Balor and Strowman teaming up with Kurt Angle against the trio of Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre.

The Monster Among Men doesn't have a story-line currently. Considering Strowman's status as one of Raw's top Superstars, it's unlikely that he will not be a part of Wrestlemania this year. So, he can eventually find his way into the Intercontinental Title picture tonight. The best way to kick off this story-line would be to have Strowman assist Balor.

#2 Apollo:

Balor and Crews have shared the same ring in the past too.

Apollo is one of those Superstars who never cease to impress inside the squared circle. Although he hasn't received his share of the spotlight yet, it is bound to change at one point or the other. Over the past few months, Apollo has been stepping up to Raw's elite Superstars such as Dean Ambrose, Elias, Kurt Angle etc. Not only that, but he has also been booked to take his opponents to their limits.

This is a clear indication that WWE might be planning something significant for him soon. If he ends up being Finn Balor's partner tonight, he may get a direct ticket to an Intercontinental Title match at Wrestlemania. An Apollo/Lashley or even a Crews/Rush feud has money written all over it. Moreover, he (along with EC3) also faced Lashley at a live event this past weekend.

#1 "The Demon":

Perhaps it is time to summon the Demon.
Perhaps it is time to summon the Demon.

This choice makes the most sense and no sense at the same time. Technically, it will still be a handicap match as The Demon is basically Balor's alter-ego. However, this will definitely be an exciting angle, if executed properly. Over the past few weeks, rumors have been circulated regarding the Demon's presence at Wrestlemania. WWE has even got the Demon featured on one of their Wrestlemania posters.

The Demon's involvement makes perfect sense in a way that Balor has been unable to deal with both Lashley and Rush at the same time. His alter-ego, on the other hand, has proved to be way quicker and stronger, in the past. His matches with Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, and Baron Corbin during the last 3 Summerslams are a clear indication that the Demon gets the job done. If Balor pops up tonight with the makeup on, it will solidify the Demon's presence at Wrestlemania as well.
