Is Roman Reigns the one to Dethrone Kofi Kingston?

Kofi Kingston has been the WWE Champion since Wrestlemania 35. Throughout his reign, he has defended the strap against the likes of Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and so on. Moreover, with Brock Lesnar winning the Universal Championship last night, it rules the beast out as one of Kingston's next opponents. So, with no legitimate heel left on the Blue Brand for Kingston to beat, what's next?

Some logical choices would be to either have him feud with a Raw Superstar again or his stablemates turn on him. The first choice wouldn't be the most favourable, considering Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman have been tasked to make Raw and SmackDown Live two distinct Brands. The second choice would feel a little rushed, considering how Big E and Xavier Woods just won the Tag Titles.

Thus, the only blockbuster feud for the WWE Title at SummerSlam looks to be Reigns vs. Kofi. Although this would cause the WWE Universe to turn on the Big Dog, it could be the start of something big. Eric Bischoff once stated during his interview with Chris Van Vliet that he would turn Roman Reigns heel. Now with Seth Rollins as Raw's Top Babyface and Kevin Owens on his way to becoming his Smackdown Live counterpart, the time is right to pull the trigger on a Roman Reigns heel turn.
