#1 The Reigns-McMahon saga finally featured a segment that worked on various levels

Unlike the weeks leading up to last night's episode, there were some hard-hitting moments in the segments featuring Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon.

First of all, I really liked Drew McIntyre's interaction with his former 3MB cohort Heath Slater during the show. It effectively positioned Shane as the villain at the head of the heel stable.

I also liked the idea of integrating Shane McMahon's VIP Room as a very important backstage setting throughout last night's episode. This made the moment where Roman Reigns storms into that room even more exciting.

Finally, the fans lit up with energy when Roman Reigns conquered Shane McMahon's crew and beat up the leader himself inside the ring. This solidifies Roman's stance as a wrestler who - at his peak - is the most dominant threat inside the ring (a theme that was common in the past).

So, even though we might have a good idea as to how this rivalry will conclude eventually, it was good to see segments that actually made this feud feel important for once.
