#2 The episode's ending had Paul Heyman written all over it

Last night's RAW featured an ending that was a weird blend of two tonally opposite storylines.

Of course, Rusev finally got involved in a major arc, which is great, but the character's entire mindset might have changed after Lana linked herself with Bobby Lashley out of nowhere.

This sounds cheesy, and it was definitely that, but the episode would not have ended on the lines of that very plot point if it weren't for Paul Heyman.

This is because right after Rusev received the shocking news, "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt made his presence felt by attacking Seth Rollins outside the ring!

Mashing two tonally opposite storylines together seems very experimental in the world of professional wrestling, and so far, we can say that Paul Heyman likes to think out of the box and experiment a lot along the way.

I would say that the ending was a little rushed and had some repetitive issues, but regardless of that, you can see that Paul Heyman has a unique approach to booking WWE shows.
