Meet Sara Amato, the first female trainer in the history of the WWE Performance Center

Sara Amato is the first female trainer in the history of the WWE Performance Center.

She is a retired professional wrestler who wrestled all across the globe since 2002. On May 19 2015, Amato was promoted to NXT assistant head coach by WWE.

As you can see in the video posted on WWE's Twitter feed above, Sara Amato is perhaps the most underrated name responsible for WWE Evolution. It all started at the performance center, and there are several names on the main roster like Alexa Bliss who are indebted to her for their success in WWE.

Since there are a lot of 'first-ever' tags attached to WWE Evolution, it is important to realise that there are people working behind-the-scenes who are equally as responsible for giving rise to historic events such as the first ever all women's PPV we are concerned with right now.

Interestingly, Sara Amato was trained by none other than Daniel Bryan himself.
