3 mistakes WWE should avoid at Stomping Grounds

Will we see it at Stomping Grounds?
Will we see it at Stomping Grounds?

We are less than twenty-four hours away from Stomping Grounds. WWE raised the expectations after great episodes of RAW and SmackDown Live this week. Having several blockbuster matches on the card, it should be a spectacular pay-per-view.

A total of nine matches will take place at Stomping Grounds. The show will be held at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. The US Championship will be on the line when Samoa Joe will take on Ricochet. Seth Rollins will defend the Universal Title against Baron Corbin, while Kofi Kingston will fight Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Title.

The RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch will face Lacey Evans in a rematch, and on the other hand, Bayley will square off with Alexa Bliss for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Roman Reigns will take on Drew McIntyre in a WrestleMania rematch. Two Tag Team matches will be held as Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan will put the twin belts on the line against Heavy Machinery, and Xavier Woods and Big E will lock horns with the team of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

Here we discuss three mistakes WWE must avoid at Stomping Grounds.

#3 Bayley should not lose the SmackDown Women's Title

Set for Stomping Grounds

The SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley will put the title on the line against five-time Women's Champion Alexa Bliss. Since winning the most coveted women's prize of the blue brand at Money in the Bank, it will be her first title defence. Bayley has a tough task at hand as Nikki Cross will be the back-up of the Goddess.

Bayley has a substandard track record against her Stomping Grounds opponent. Bliss and Bayley locked horns in two pay-per-view matche,s and the former won both matches. Since Bliss is undefeated against the Hugger in pay-per-view, it will be interesting to see if the record changes at Tacoma Dome.

Bayley has excellent momentum and she deserves a good run as the holder of the blue belt. A lengthy title reign could establish her as a top-tier Superstar of the women's division.

#2 Shane McMahon shouldn't interfere

Roman Reigns is set to take on Drew McIntyre at Stomping Grounds. The two men already locked horns at the Showcase of Immortals where Reigns pinned McIntyre. Though their last encounter didn't live up to the hype, they could tear the house down at the Tacoma Dome.

The Big Dog suffered an appalling loss against Shane McMahon at Super ShowDown, hence, he will be aiming to get back on track at Stomping Grounds. McIntyre will be eyeing to redeem his previous loss. McIntyre's interference helped Shane to pin Reigns in Saudi Arabia. Considering Shane will be at ringside on Sunday, it will be interesting to see if he gets involved in this bout.

An interference certainly diminishes the quality of a good match, and WWE shouldn't allow an interference at Tacoma Dome. Both McIntyre and Reigns are capable of delivering an impressive bout, so Reigns could bring his own back-up. Considering the Miz has been part of this storyline, he could be at ringside to prevent interference from Shane.

#1 Brock Lesnar shouldn't have another failed attempt

It shouldn't happen again

Seth Rollins, who holds the most coveted prize of the red brand, will face Baron Corbin at Stomping Grounds. Though Rollins defeated Corbin at Super ShowDown, the latter will have an advantage at Stomping Grounds. Corbin will choose a referee of his preference at the Tacoma Dome and he has a bright chance to win the Universal Title.

Besides Baron Corbin, Seth Rollins should be worried about another Superstar. Brock Lesnar, who is the holder of Money in the Bank briefcase, could cash in the contract anytime. It is uncertain if Lesnar will show up at Stomping Grounds. He attempted to cash in the contract at Super ShowDown, and the possibility cannot be ruled out.

When Lesnar tried to cash in the contract at Super ShowDown, Rollins prevented it with a low blow and multiple chair shots. Therefore, it shouldn't happen at the Tacoma Dome if Lesnar appears to cash in the briefcase. The Beast Incarnate is one of the feared men of Vince McMahon's company and his character could get hampered if Rollins prevents it next time.
