3 possible matches for Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34

Since being drafted to Raw during the brand split in the summer of 2016, Braun Strowman has been one of the best improvements of the year. Everybody, including myself, thought Braun was being thrown into the wolves by being separated from the Wyatt Family, but it seemed he was just getting started. Demanding competition, Strowman destroyed jobbers for months until meeting with his rival, 'The Big Dog' Roman Reigns for the first time during the January 30 episode of Raw when Reigns cost Strowman his match for the Universal Championship against Kevin Owens.

These two would go on to feud for months and months, with Strowman flipping over an ambulance with him in it, and Roman Reigns backing the ambulance into a trailer with Strowman in the back of it. Ending the feud temporarily after their ambulance match, Strowman would go on to challenge Brock Lesnar in a Universal Championship Match in a losing effort. Since then, Strowman has been feuding with the likes of Kane, Lesnar and The Shield, also participating triple threats and fatal-four-ways for the Universal Championship but falling short on each occasion while never taking the pin.

With that said, the Monster Among Men deserves a big WrestleMania match this year. Today we're going to go through the best possible match-ups for Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34.

#3 - The Miz (Intercontinental Championship match)

Current WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Miz.

During the TLC PPV in 2017, Braun Strowman partnered with The Miz, The Bar and Kane. After Braun went on a rampage, his partners decided to team up against him and throw him into a garbage truck. Although Strowman returned a few weeks later and attacked The Miz, it still doesn't feel like Strowman got his full revenge on The Miz. Strowman has been without a championship since his dominant main roster run, which to me, is a shame.

Strowman is the most over wrestler on the main roster not named Roman Reigns and could be a fantastic face if done right. Enter The Miz to the picture, the current Intercontinental Champion and one of the biggest heels in WWE today. The Miz is capable of getting the best out all of his opponents on the mic; this could be a great time to see if Strowman has what it takes to carry the company on the microphone. If they're not ready to push Strowman to the main event scene just yet, maybe we could see the Monster Among Men capture the Intercontinental Championship on the grandest stage of them all.

#2 - Goldberg

Goldberg returned to the WWE in 2016, after a nearly 12-year absence from the company. Leaving the WWE on what many would consider a stinker of a match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, Goldberg came back looking to prove that he could still be the most dominant force to be reckoned with. During the January 2 edition of Monday night Raw, Goldberg returned to Raw to declare his intentions to win the Royal Rumble, causing Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman to come out and do the same. After a brief stare down, Reigns and Goldberg performed a double spear on Strowman.

Right there is where the build up to this match can begin: Strowman remembers everything, including what Goldberg did to him. This feud could start during an episode of Raw if Goldberg appears to promote his Hall of Fame induction with Strowman laying waste to Goldberg through the course of a month or so; it could make for some really interesting television. This feud could be what is needed to put Strowman over to the next level, beating a newly inducted Hall of Famer on the grandest stand of them all.

#1 - Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar (Universal Championship match)

Although it seems set in stone that Reigns is going to be challenging for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34, what if WWE decided to throw us a curve ball? Strowman has had a blood-rivalry with Reigns since 2016 and has developed quite a rivalry with Lesnar over the past year, facing him in three different matches.

With the already well known history between Lesnar and Reigns, this money match pretty much writes itself: Reigns, trying to conquer a beast he hasn't been able to conquer since Wrestlemania 31 and capturing the championship; Strowman, the young monster entering his first big WrestleMania match, trying to conquer a beast in the same situation Reigns was in a few years ago; and finally, we have Lesnar, the Beast who has been fighting off all challengers for almost a full year against two superstars he's beaten in the past but are hungry for the victory.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about this match. Hopefully WWE throws us a curve ball and gives us the match I didn't know I wanted to see until now. Let me know below if you think I missed anybody!
