Kofi Kingston has defended the WWE Championship against almost everyone on the SmackDown roster including AJ Styles and Kevin Owens. But the Beast is waiting to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and Kofi's story fairytale could end at Extreme Rules.

Now, if WWE makes the decision with Brock cashing on Kofi, it means we'll have a new champion at the end of the show. Which will probably lead Kingston facing Lesnar in a rematch at SummerSlam.

WWE has recently signed a 5-year deal with FOX which is worth more than $200 million in the month of June to air SmackDown Live on FOX from October 2019. This deal explains quite a few things, some big stars will be moving up to SmackDown Live, which might include Brock Lesnar. Making Brock Lesnar show up on SmackDown could be a real boost the WWE as it signals potential clashes of Lesnar with the likes of Reigns, Orton and others.
