With the wild-card in place, Brock Lesnar is as much at an advantage as any other monster in WWE today. Since Lesnar has held the Universal Championship before, he could be hungry for the WWE Championship once again. Kofi Kingston and Lesnar came face to face at The Beast in The East event back in July 2015, in Tokyo Japan.

While Lesnar walked in and walked out of the ring unharmed, Kofi wasn’t so lucky. With Kofi currently holding the WWE Championship, he could well be on Lesnar’s radar as The Beast is always hungry for gold and prefers to stay on top in the WWE.
Since WWE is trying to increase ratings for both its brands, Lesnar and Kofi could prove to increase the ratings on both shows as they can appear on Raw and SmackDown regularly for segments before the clash. Not only will this be Lesnar’s chance to win a top championship again, but also Kofi’s biggest chance to prove himself as the best.
