After his title defense last week on Smackdown Live, Bobby Roode was celebrating his victory when the Viper Randy Orton appeared out of nowhere and delivered an RKO to Roode. This has been the first time these two stars have crossed, what could be the motivation behind it?
Well, you see, Randy Orton has won every championship there is to win besides the one championship that Bobby Roode has. If built correctly, this could be a story of the Veteran wrestler, but new to the WWE, defending his championship against a hungry veteran who has yet to win the United States championship during his run in WWE. While Randy Orton has never been the best babyface, he could be a nice foil for a heel Bobby Roode. If they are given the right amount of time, these two could have a classic match with each other.
