Bayley has done it. Yes, you read that right, Bayley has become the new SmackDown Women's Champion.

The high flyer not only managed to overcome 7 other women to win the women's Money in the Bank ladder match, but also went on to cash-in her briefcase in the same night to become the new Women's Champion of the blue brand.

In case you did not know, the former champion Becky Lynch was in for double duty as she was scheduled to defend both her Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships against Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair respectively in two separate matches.

While Becky defeated Evans in a hard-fought match, she could not overcome Charlotte Flair thanks to a cheap attack by Evans when the referee was distracted.

However, what seemed like another Charlotte title reign on the blue brand soon turned into something bigger. Yes, Bayley showed up much to the crowd's amusement and not only went on to take out Lacey Evans but cashed in her contract and defeated Flair to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion.

Thus, it opened gates to many mouthwatering clashes for the SmackDown Women's Champion in the days to come. And in this article, we take a look at 3 potential feuds for Bayley as the new SmackDown Women's champion.

#3 Mandy Rose

It would be a mouthwatering battle
It would be a mouthwatering battle

Mandy Rose has been a total revelation on the blue brand. She has impressed both WWE fans as well as critics alike with her spellbinding performances in the last few months or so.

As a matter of fact, she was highly speculated to win the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match by many (including me). However, it was not meant to be so.

None the less, given how creative have been over the moon with her she could be in line for a much-deserved singles push sooner than later.

With Bayley being the new SmackDown Women's Champion, the duo could put together some memorable matches together.

#2 Sasha Banks

It would be a fascinating battle
It would be a fascinating battle

Sasha Banks last featured in a tag team match with Bayley at WrestleMania 35, where she dropped the Women's Tag Team Championship to the IIconics. However, she has been the talk of the town ever since reports of a backstage breakdown due to creative differences.

As a matter of fact, the situation escalated to such a point that the Internet was buzzing with rumours of her leaving the WWE forever, however, replying to a fan on Twitter, she hinted otherwise. Thus, a potential return could be on the cards for The Boss sooner than later.

Given how things have unfolded, WWE could use it wisely to launch a heel Sahsa Banks into a solid feud against her former tag team partner Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

It would not only be a solid and gripping storyline but would certainly grab a lot of eyeballs given the recent turn of events.

#1 Charlotte Flair

It could be on the cards
It could be on the cards

Charlotte Flair defeated Becky Lynch with the help of Lacey Evans to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion. And just when it seemed all was done and dusted, Bayley successfully cashed-in her briefcase to become the new champ.

Thus, WWE could have Charlotte portray as if she was robbed of the title when she was vulnerable after a hard-fought victory against Becky Lynch. She could further go on claiming a rematch to lay down the breadcrumbs for a potential feud against the current champion Bayley.

Given the affinity of WWE with The Queen, plus how she has always been around the title scene on the blue brand, a potential feud against Bayley seems totally on the cards.

Nonetheless, both these women are proven performers and can put together an intense and gripping feud if WWE books it properly. Furthermore, Bayley's youthfulness and agility against Flair's experience and unique skill set would be totally worth watching.
