Adam Cole has taken WWE by storm since his debut. He has risen to lead the Undisputed Era, alongside; Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, and Bobby Fish. Moreover, Cole has made an impact outside NXT. He participated in the 2018 Royal Rumble event, entering number twenty-three. However, let's not forget his past. Cole is known for his time as the leader of Bullet Club in ROH and NJPW.
At NXT Takeover: WarGames Cole performed excellently in the returning match. Moreover, at NXT Takeover: New Orleans Cole made history becoming the first-ever North American Champion. Since then Cole's popularity has dramatically improved. Everywhere NXT tours, Cole receives overbearing reactions from fans, (watch the video below).
His presence on NXT has improved viewership and the brand. Therefore, he has earned this position. However, it is possible Cole could debut on the main roster.
