#2 Huge opportunity for Adam Cole elsewhere
Outside of Adam Cole and NXT, it is fair to say that right now wrestling is once again booming. From AEW challenging WWE, to IMPACT Wrestling showing that they're stronger than ever, to Warrior Wrestling showing how it is done on the independents.
There is a huge wrestling world outside of WWE, and Adam Cole has been in that world before. Cole would have an enormous opportunity to once again make himself a name outside of WWE.
Of course, he could still remain in the mainstream by signing for All Elite Wrestling. AEW has welcomed many talents who were surplus to requirements for WWE or become disgruntled, and those on the independents who have deserved a bigger platform.
Adam Cole spoke with RondaRousey.com about working with different wrestlers:
"I love performing with people I’ve never worked with before. Because everybody’s different. Everybody performs different and thinks a little bit different. So, selfishly, it just improves your skillset to compete against a bunch of different people who all have different outlooks and perspectives on the way things are and the way things go. It just makes you a more well-rounded performer, especially when it’s someone I watch and I’m entertained by or think they’re really talented and I’ve never worked with them before." From that quote, Adam Cole would have a plethora of talent to work with, which he hasn't crossed paths with before. This could be a hugely motivating factor in wanting to be out of WWE following SummerSlam weekend.
