#2 Adam Cole may be treated differently on the main roster
Adam Cole has done it all in NXT, and there's nothing really left for him to do on the brand. Cole has been a part of the NXT journey since 2017, and that has seen him achieve many accolades.

Moving to the main roster is a completely different story. Just ask someone like Aleister Black. Recent NXT stars coming up to the roster have been treated much differently than in NXT. They are usually brought up without any real plan, and sometimes their gimmick on NXT doesn't quite get over with the WWE Universe.
Aleister Black, now Malakai Black on AEW, spoke with Comic Book about why he thinks so many NXT call-ups struggle on the main roster:
"I think one of the main issues is that there [are] too many cooks in the kitchen. Whereas Hunter [Triple H] has a vision and oversees the entire vision with his team. He always puts his ear to the ground and he communicates very one-on-one with his talent and everybody shares his vision. Where I feel the main roster a lot of people think that they know Vince's [McMahon's] vision, they haven't closely followed the people that are being brought up." Aleister Black said (h/t Comic Book)
Moving to the main roster might not be the right move for Adam Cole, who may just become another wrestler. Of course, he's an incredible performer, but the environment on the main roster is very different. I guess now we may not find out how Adam Cole would fare on the main roster.
