Becky Lynch hasn't been on WWE television for the majority of the year, and fans and professionals surely feel her absence. While many want to see her return soon, it shouldn't happen until the new year arrives.
Becky Lynch's last match was on the May 27 edition of WWE RAW. During the episode, she failed to defeat Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship while inside a Steel Cage. The following month, it was confirmed that her contract had expired. She has since been on a hiatus and has been spending more time with her family, but this hasn't prevented fans from dreaming about a possible return soon. If The Man does decide to return, it might be better to let 2024 pass by first.

Women's Champions Nia Jax is dealing with her best friend and Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton, Women's World Champion Liv Morgan is dealing with Rhea Ripley again, the Women's Tag Team titles are being defended regularly by Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, a new Women's US Championship has been introduced, and more.
With this in mind, inserting Becky Lynch while all of this is going on could just feel out of place and maybe even disrupt the flow of the ongoing feuds. If she returns next year, she can be placed against another top star in a fresh feud. Also, since The Man is a top superstar, other names can fill her spotlight for now.
#2. Becky Lynch returning on The Road to WrestleMania 41 will make the occasion more exciting
As early as January, the Stamford-based promotion will already begin to introduce feuds and storylines for WrestleMania 41. A return from The Man will surely give fans more reasons to tune in for the shows before The Grandest Stage of Them All.
A lot of names can feud with Lynch once she returns. There's the issue of possibly seeking revenge on Liv Morgan, then there's Jade Cargill whom she hasn't faced yet, Charlotte Flair who has also been gone for a while, and maybe even some up-and-coming stars from NXT. Becky returning in 2025 appears to be the best way to transition the legend back into the fold.
