Stephanie McMahon is perhaps Ronda Rousey's biggest nemesis on WWE on-screen programming

As we'd previously reported, the WWE plans on putting forth a "reality era" version of the Attitude era's iconic Mr. McMahon vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin storyline. In fact, the WWE now has two perfect performers to essay the roles in a modern-day take on the aforementioned storyline.

While Stephanie McMahon will portray the antagonist akin to her father, Ronda Rousey would act as the protagonist a la Steve Austin. One would be remiss to brush off Rousey's beat-down of McMahon on this week's edition of RAW, as just another segment.

The WWE already has a built-in feud between Stephanie and Rousey, especially with the duo having faced off in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34 earlier this year.

Stephanie McMahon vs. Ronda Rousey has the makings of a classic rivalry, and the WWE is masterfully executing the feud--with the slow-burn approach they've utilized for it thus far.
