3 reasons why Brock Lesnar's second WWE run is coming to an end

It seems as though Brock Lesnar's WWE return was forever ago. In that time, the beast has racked up plenty of accolades - becoming the first to beat Undertaker's unbeaten streak at WrestleMania, winning multiple world titles and equally taking many unfortunate souls to Suplex City too.

He has also appeared in many main events and this year's WrestleMania event looks to be no different, as he and Roman Reigns are set for a rematch from their encounter three years back.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, this may be the very last time Brock wrestles for the WWE ever. His contract is set to expire soon and he may potentially look to step away from the company, as they should be prepared for his departure too. It doesn't seem to be working as well as it once did for the pair - here are three reasons why Brock's second WWE run seems inevitably at its end.

#3 What is left for him?

Brock Lesnar came back with many promising feuds to look forward to. He faced the likes of: CM Punk, Triple H, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, John Cena, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and so many more.

As previously mentioned, he has held all the major gold and been the main event of every single pay-per-view from the big four too. Of course, on top of all that, he managed to beat the streak in arguably the most unforgettable moment in WWE history.

With that in mind, the man doesn't have much left he could do in future. His matches are starting to all feel like re-runs, feuds are starting to take similar routes and he doesn't have many viable opponents left to compete with that he hasn't already. WWE seem incapable of building new stars, which naturally hurts Brock too as he'd need fresh faces and intriguing encounters for supporters to anticipate.

#2 Fans aren't as invested in him as previously before

Is he done?
Is he done?

The fans are beginning to turn sour on Brock as a WWE performer. His feuds all seem to go the same way: Heyman hypes up the opponent, the guys have a massive pull apart brawl, Brock beats the guy after taking some punishment with a single F5. The matches have regressed, as they used to be more intriguing and genuinely fun to watch - fans notice this and are naturally becoming less excited to watch him compete as a result.

His one memorable match in recent memory was with AJ Styles, who is talented enough to have a good encounter with anyone on the roster. Fans are also becoming increasingly tired of seeing the part-time fighters dominating the big four main events, as not seeing titles for months on end naturally decreases its value. It's not the first time that he's done it with the world championship, either. Fans are eager to see the guys whom they've invested time into every week main event the big shows, as opposed to those who appear sporadically.

Following his massive win over the Undertaker, the shine has gradually worn off and he no longer feels like the unbeatable destroyer of his 2014/15 run. Having become overly repetitive, fans no longer want to see matches with multiple suplexes anymore - his value as a performer has reached an all-time low.

#1 UFC is, again, on the radar

Brock may also be considering a return to the UFC, as something is visibly different with him recently. His effort in the ring has decreased and speculation continues to run wild about his future.

The first time he returned to MMA, he had an incredibly disappointing match with Dean Ambrose just prior. He had to remain in top shape for his UFC return - which happened recently at a live event encounter with Kane, lasting less than a minute long.

Fans who attend these shows to see Brock's half-hearted matches are getting increasingly frustrated, which is understandable given he's the main attraction on a regular basis. Brock and WWE need to split sooner rather than later, before his legacy continues to dwindle.
