3 Reasons Dean Ambrose' heel turn is best for business

#2 Seth becomes the Ultimate Babyface

About to Burn It Down!
About to Burn It Down!

When The Shield debuted, everyone felt that Rollins was the de facto breakout babyface of all the three. He had the moves, he had the charisma, he was the total package. However, his heel turn shocked everyone when he attacked his brethren with a chair. He returned as a heel even after his knee injury, despite getting a HUGE reaction from the audience.

When Triple H turned on him, Rollins turned face, but couldn't connect with the audience. Soon his work rate and quality of matches won the fans over, and he became the hottest babyface on the entire RAW roster. It also helped that his theme song's scream of 'Burn It Down' was crazy over with the audience.

If you check out this week's main event, Seth was the man that received the highest of pops and did most of the work. True emotion reflected in his work. And then, Ambrose struck. Kicking a man who was already down, Dean was ruthless. Seth was completely vulnerable and exhausted to fight back.

This has excited this writer to no bounds. Just imagine the pop that Rollins will get next week when he addresses his former brother. Imagine the wave of support that Seth will ride as this week kicked off one of the most exciting storylines in a long time. The goosebumps-inducing chants, his fiery promos just make for compelling television. Not to mention the fact that the matches he has with Ambrose will be filled with emotion.

Seth Rollins could finally, finally break down the glass ceiling and reach the heights of, dare I say, The Rock or John Cena as a true, legitimate megastar. In Roman's absence, he also becomes the top guy on RAW, who could enter the Universal title picture anytime soon.
