Though he may not hold gold presently, Roman Reigns is no stranger to championship glory in WWE. A Triple Crown and Grand Slam winner, Reigns is also a former Royal Rumble winner, a three-time WWE Champion and former Universal Champion.
With all this success, Reigns knows the responsibility of being a champion in WWE, and has almost always carried him as one. Plus, it's clear that the company are often reliant on former champions to carry the company banner, often at a detriment to younger stars (for example, Lesnar capturing his second Universal title over Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel).
