Smackdown has a dearth of talented in-ring heel performers on the blue brand, which is likely why the limited Carmella is carrying the strap.

With the inaugural all-women pay-per-view, Evolution, coming in October, WWE will surely want to ensure that the World Champions on the show are the best the division has to offer. Charlotte Flair as champion with Becky Lynch as challenger is the strongest match-up the blue brand has to offer.

Carmella for all her talent on the microphone has a late 1990's/early 2000's Diva-esque style that sets the women's revolution back well over a decade. Her reign is surely coming to an end, but Lynch as a face champion doesn't give the division the shot in the arm it desperately needs with no credible heel challengers.

Flair must win the belt and Lynch must turn heel on her best friend.
