WWE has often been criticized for using part-timers like Brock Lesnar too much and prioritizing them over full-time talent. However, the reason WWE puts Lesnar in high-profile matches is that the former has proven to be a credible draw. The Beast has a tremendous fan-following from his time in MMA and UFC. Vince McMahon has granted Lesnar special and exclusive privileges as Lesnar has proven to boost ratings.

SmackDown Live is moving to Fox and this is a huge landmark in the Blue Brand's history. However, SmackDown Live needs to maintain healthy and decent ratings if it is to have an extended deal with Fox. Lesnar is one WWE can always rely on to move the needle, as he did on his time on RAW.

Building SmackDown Live around Lesnar may not be the best option, but it's not the worst either. If WWE uses Lesnar wisely, he could be a valuable asset and a priceless commodity to SmackDown Live. Lesnar could put over younger talent and make them look like huge stars.
