#3 SHOULD NOT: The honour should go to full-time stars

Balor or Rollins deserve a title shot at Wrestlemania more than another part-timer.
Balor or Rollins deserve a title shot at Wrestlemania more than another part-timer.

One huge reason why Brock vs. Rock should not main event Wrestlemania 35 is that it takes away a top spot from the wrestlers who are present all the time.

Guys like AJ Styles, the Miz, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre, Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan are full-time wrestlers who bust their butts on a weekly basis. They truly love the business and want to put on the best matches possible.

People can say what they want about Brock Lesnar, but he cares more about money than wrestling. If he didn't, he wouldn't constantly be putting the UFC and WWE in bidding wars for his services.

It's a sign of a shrewd businessman but it is a kick in the pants to the fans who make the WWE what it is. It also holds the matchmaker's hostage until he makes up his mind.

It also potentially takes away a well-deserved Royal Rumble win from a top current star like Styles, Rollins, McIntyre, Bryan or Styles.

The Rock opened as the favourite to win the rumble a few months ago, and with the women's chance, he still might be the favourite. That is a way that the program between the two could start, with a Rocky rumble victory.

The Rumble match itself might be good, but the result ultimately cancels out the match. Another thing is that Brock will be more focused on a potential UFC match with Daniel Cormier rather than a Wrestlemania match.

Sure he'll show up, but will his effort? It'll likely be booked for over 20 minutes but the Rock might have trouble sustaining a match for that long.
