Why he shouldn't: The Fiend's streak is yet to peak
The Fiend won the WWE Universal Title back at Crown Jewel 2019 and since then, has held the title for 4 months. It has been just 119 days since he won the title and for a monster like him to drop the title so soon would make things difficult for him in the future.
WWE are building him up as an unstoppable force and that is yet to peak. There are a lot of things the company is yet to do with him holding on to the title and thus, it would be a very bad choice to put Goldberg over with a win tonight.
While Goldberg ending the streak is somewhat more reasonable than any of the other challengers so far, he is still a part-timer and that would tarnish The Fiend's powers.
To be completely honest, not only should The Fiend retain the title tonight, he should squash Goldberg. That move would make things even better for The Fiend and it could be the starting point of the WWE Universal champion reaching the peak for his reign.
