Why he should win: Helps WWE bring Roman Reigns into the picture without backlash
Rumors suggest that Roman Reigns will be facing Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36 for the WWE Universal Title. Moreover, reports suggest that he could be the one to end the unbeaten streak for The Fiend.
While it would be a very good move for the company, the WWE Universe might not like it. There would be instant backlash for putting the title on Reigns again and not get him over with the fans.
Instead, if Roman Reigns wins the title from someone like Goldberg who is a part-timer now, it would help him not only reach the pinnacle of the sport yet again but also put him over with the crowd like he is now.
Goldberg could be the temporary solution for WWE to get Reigns back on top of the mountain but a lot would depend on how the Hall of Famer wins the title from 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt first.
