Stone Cold Steve Austin, without an iota of doubt, is one of the greatest WWE Superstars in WWE History. The Texas Rattlesnake had an incredible combination of charisma, personality, and attitude, making him one of the top guys of the company for many years. He, along with The Rock, had a huge role in helping WWE win the Monday Night War against their competitors WCW. Most of the wrestlers on the roster may have grown up watching Steve Austin.
Kevin Owens is one of those guys. WWE Superstars paying homage to their favorite wrestler is not a new thing in WWE. For instance, Sasha Banks does the iconic Frog Splash to pay her respect to Eddie Guerrero. Similarly, Owens could be performing the Stunner to simply show his respect to Steve Austin.
