#1 WWE's gain is AEW's loss

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is, officially, in direct competition with WWE. The two promotions are about to go head-to-head on television with the launch of AEW's weekly show on TNT beginning October 2, 2019. However, in the meantime, the two companies are squaring off against each other for talent and personnel. Superstars such as Jon Moxley (formerly known as Dean Ambrose in WWE), Shawn Spears (formerly known as Tye Dillinger) and the legendary Chris Jericho have already been roped in by AEW.

AEW's women's division currently consists of talented wrestlers such as Dr. Britt Baker, Kylie Rae, Bea Priestley, Allie, Sadie Gibbs, Awesome Kong and many more. However, it is missing the star attraction which would pull the fans' attention towards the division.

Sasha Bank's apparent unhappiness with the way she was being treated in WWE would have increased the hopes for AEW to rope her into the promotion. This speculation was further fueled by her departure from WWE post-WrestleMania and the numerous cryptic Instagram posts thereafter.

However, Banks' recent return to WWE has put a full stop to all these speculations. WWE's ability to improve its relations with Sasha Banks is certainly a loss for AEW, nonetheless.
