3 reasons why the New Day must never break up

The New Day are gold together
The New Day are gold together

The New Day is currently in Mumbai, for the ongoing WWE India Tryout. They also held a meet and greet for WWE fans here, shooting a segment for SmackDown Live as well. The energy in the place was infectious, and the general feeling towards the five-time Tag Team Champions was love and appreciation. These are three extremely positive people who fit together in the most perfect way.

It is crazy looking back at how the New Day started, as a trio of preachers that did not get over with the crowd. It took an excellently executed heel turn for them to get over with the WWE Universe. And they did so spectacularly.

For close to four years, New Day has been one of the best acts on WWE programming on a consistent basis. Their evolution over the years has prompted fans to grow their love for them.

Right now, Kofi Kingston is going after the WWE Championship with the full support of Big E and Xavier Woods. There were previously rumors flying around of Big E turning heel and costing Kingston the title at some point.

This is something that should not happen now, or ever. The New Day must remain together for the rest of their careers, without any shadow of a doubt. A New Day break-up would be a disaster.

Here are three reasons why these three guys will stick together for the rest of their careers, and eventually enter the WWE Hall Of Fame together.

#3 The great tag team revival

WWE seems to be putting more focus on their tag teams
WWE seems to be putting more focus on their tag teams

The New Day is one of the most successful tag teams on the current WWE roster and has even gone on to hold the record for the longest ever tag title reign in history, at 483 days.

Their presence has given the company a big boost in their tag team scene for a very long time. They have reigned atop the SmackDown Live tag division a few times, having countless classics with the likes of the Usos and the Bar.

WWE has started to focus more and more into revitalizing their tag team division on both brands, meaning that they will need all the teams they can get. It would make zero sense to break up one of the greatest tag teams ever during a time when WWE is pushing tag team wrestling.

The New Day, the Usos, the Bar, and the Revival seem like the four teams that WWE will focus on the most, as they aim to put on a better product.

#2 Too many singles stars

The WrestleMania card will be bloated again
The WrestleMania card will be bloated again

The New Day has a really high standing in the company and will remain at such a position together. They could even drift into singles spots as part of the group, as evidenced by Kofi's incredible rise.

What WWE doesn't need is three new singles wrestlers on SmackDown. In a time when the roster is stacked with talent and more of them are being added every month or so, the last thing WWE could need is three more talented wrestlers joining the cluster and getting lost in the shuffle, after such a successful tag team stint.

It looks like WrestleMania will end up having 15 matches this year, which could be a huge problem for the performers and their chances of having an added focus to them on the Show of Shows.

The mid-cards of both Raw and SmackDown are both so full of talent that there are bound to be people who do not get used at all. This is a problem that could be avoided for Kofi, Big E, and Woods by just having them stick together where they function best

#1 If it ain't broke, don't fix it

New Day rocks!
New Day rocks!

Breaking up the New Day would be one of the stupidest decisions that WWE could currently make, both creatively and business-wise. They are the perfect babyface group, always evolving much to the approval of the fans.

They work so well together, having tremendous chemistry together as a group. This current run with Kofi going after the WWE Championship has reassured us that the New Day is more than a tag team, they are brothers. Brothers who are there for each other.

Xavier Woods once said his goal in the WWE is to make sure that Kofi becomes a world champion. That goal is so close to happening, as WrestleMania is the place for it to all go down. New Day's rise has been one of the most organic things in modern day WWE, and they continue to be organic together.

A heel turn for one of them and a break-up would not be organic at all, as these three might never be able to top what they are doing together in the WWE. They are all defined by the New Day. They are all family, and you don't break up family.
