The Revival has been quite unhappy with the way they have been booked on the main roster. Dash and Wilder have on multiple occasions expressed their discontentment via social media.

After debuting on the main roster following WrestleMania 33, Dawson and Wilder went through a patch of unfortunate injuries which kept the duo out of action for the better part of 2017.

Once pegged to be a top team on the red brand, The Revival would be buried over the next few months, which saw them losing to the B-team and having pointless matches against Lucha House Party.

Things came to such a point where rumors began surfacing that The Revival had asked for their release from the company. This further gained strength when the duo had a Twitter exchange with The Young Bucks.

Many feel that Dawson and Wilder are going jump ship to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The duo finally won the RAW tag team titles from Bobby Roode and Chad Gable on the February 11, 2018, edition of RAW.

This looked like the company's way of keeping the duo happy so that they don't ask out of their current contract. While they still don't have a confirmed match at WrestleMania 35, it is almost a given they will be a part of some sort of a multi-man tag match, this Sunday. (H/T- PW Insider)

WWE can't afford to lose a team like The Revival, especially now that AEW has become a reality. Dawson and Wilder will be lapped up by many promotions across the globe if they were to leave WWE.

Dawson and Wilder retaining the RAW Tag Team Championship perhaps has to do with the Revival's status with the company, as the company would do everything in its power to keep them.
