3 reasons why the Royal Rumble Universal Championship Triple threat match is a bad idea

Triple Threat Match
This match does not draw any excitement from the fans

#2 It will reduce Braun Strowman's momentum even further

Braun Strowman
We already know that Strowman is not winning the title at the rumble.

Braun Strowman is one of the reasons to tune into Monday Night Raw each and every week The guy has done really well to increase his stock in the WWE after having to start his career as a rosebud. The Monster Among Men, in the past few months, had impressive matches with Superstars like Roman Reigns, Big Show and Brock Lesnar, to name a few, and he certainly deserves to become the Universal Champion at some point in the future.

Strowman's last universal Championship match at No Mercy saw the giant fall to Lesnar, clean. It is clear that the WWE does not want anyone to kick out of the F5 until the main event of Wrestlemania 34, to make it look like a big deal, and Strowman is a victim of that decision as he had to lay down for the three count after taking just one F5.

It was earlier reported that an advertisement for the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay-per-view featuring him as the Universal champion was floating around the internet, leading to speculation that Strowman will be walking out of the Royal Rumble as the new champion. But it was later revealed to be only a fan-made advertisement.

If Braun is to fail in capturing the Universal Championship again, it will lower his momentum in being a legitimate threat to the title in the future.
