WWE has done an excellent job in the prelude to Extreme Rules. All of the matches on the card have a story-line background and that is a good sign for what is in store for us at Extreme Rules.

AJ Styles' heel turn and alliance with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson has spiced up his rivalry with Ricochet. WWE has built up Styles as a credible threat to Ricochet, but keep in mind that Ricochet has pinned all three members of the Club.

In the lead-up to Extreme Rules, WWE breathed life to stale rivalries. Braun Strowman's rivalry with Bobby Lashley is the perfect example of this. A few weeks ago, no one cared about the feud and the two kept locking horns in meaningless matches.

However, that changed during the end of their Falls Count Anywhere Match on Raw two weeks ago. Strowman drove Lashley through the LED board that drove the crowd into a frenzy and the match was ruled a no contest. This increased fan interest in their rivalry.

The Undertaker's return and involvement in Shane McMahon's rivalry with Roman Reigns has made the rivalry must-see.

There's no doubt that WWE has done a great job building up its hottest story-lines in the build-up to Extreme Rules.
