Impact Wrestling maybe America's second biggest promotion, but they will likely never threat the WWE's dominance. Instead, the company provides a platform to both the overlooked and wrestlers who did not reach their potential in the WWE. It provides these wrestlers with both experience and TV exposure, which can't be found in any other company in North America.
Just look at Ethan Carter The Third (EC3). After being wasted in the WWE, EC3 debuted on Impact in 2013 and quickly became one of their best wrestlers. His improvement over five years eventually led the WWE to resign him, where he currently performs in the NXT brand. Drew Galloway also improved greatly in his 30 months in Impact, and now finds himself as one of Raws top stars. The WWE would be foolish to eliminate the alternative platform that Impact provides for wrestlers.
