The Bullet Club was once again in action as Cody defended his World Title on the night

After two successful consecutive shows, Ring of Honor made a stop in Columbus, Ohio and continued their Global Wars tour.

Once again the match card looked real solid on the night; the Columbus crowd was also going to witness a world title match as Cody was all set to defend his ROH World Title.

#1 The Addiction vs Search and Destroy (Jonathan Gresham & Jay White)

The night kicked off with a star-studded tag team match as the team of Daniels and Kazarian faced two upcoming stars in Gresham and White.

Daniels once again proved why he is one of the best veterans in the wrestling business today. The duo of Gresham and White put up a lot of heart and tried to pull off the upset victory but wasn’t able to do so as Daniels and Kazarian got the three count after hitting the Celebrity Rehab on Jay.

Result: The Addiction def. Search and Destroy

#2 Jay Lethal vs Hiromu Takahashi

When a former ROH World Champion comes face to face with a former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion, you can only expect fireworks and this was the case when Lethal faced Takahashi in the first singles match of the night.

The two former champions had an incredible opening match, which set the tone for the rest of the night. Takahashi also got a little assistance from his stuffed cat, Daryl, but it was Lethal who picked up the win after a Lethal Injection.

Result: Jay Lethal def. Hiromu Takahashi

#3 Motor City Machine Guns vs Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser- (ROH Tag Team Championships)

After successfully defending their title on night two, Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin once again put their belts on the line — this time against the team of Young and BCB.

This match was neither great nor bad, but it was good and had some memorable spots. The reigning champions retained their titles after hitting the Skulls and Bones of Bruiser.

Result: Motor City Machine Guns def. Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser

#4 CHAOS (Will Ospreay, Toru Yano & Yoshi-Hashi) vs Suzuki Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Lance Hoyt)

This match was entertaining right from the bell; Toru Yano once again took a beating at the hands of Minoru Suzuki; the two even started fighting in the crowd. Suzuki Gun completely dominated the match and was putting on a clinic.

However, CHAOS got the win after Will Ospreay managed to nail Archer from the top rope and got a surprise victory for his side.

Result: CHAOS def. Suzuki Gun

#5 Sumie Sakai vs Holidead

This was the much-anticipated debut of the current RPW Women’s Champion, Holidead. The two had a good back and forth, hard hitting match that saw the Japanese veteran Sakai pick up the win following a small package pin.

Result: Sumie Sakai def. Holidead

#6 Shane Taylor vs Josh Woods

Despite the crowd being quiet throughout the entire bout, Taylor and Woods did manage to impress a lot in their grudge match. Taylor managed to get the win after a sit-out piledriver.

Both of these men have a great future ahead of them and are surely championship worthy if ROH decides to push them.

Shane Tayor def. Josh Woods

#7 Kenny King & Colt Cabana vs Bullet Club (Marty Scurll & Adam Page)

This tag team match was a lot of fun; Page and Scurll were really impressive as a team. The bout saw a lot of back and forth, entertaining action among the four men. But it was Kenny King’s team who picked up the win after the ROH TV Champion himself pinned Adam Page, following the Royal Flush.

Result: Kenny King and Colt Cabana def. Bullet Club

#8 Cody vs Kushida- (ROH World Championship)

An entertaining match but, obviously, Cody was the favourite to retain his title here, which he did.

In the later stages of the bout, Cody managed to escape Kushida’s Hoverboard Lock and then was able to block off his Back to the Future, and countered it into a Cross Rhodes. The ending sequence was by far the best part of this match, as “The American Nightmare” retained his title.

Result: Cody def. Kushida

#9 The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) vs Best Friends & Flip Gordon

For the third consecutive night, the Bullet Club defended their ROH 6 man tag team titles as The Elite came out with the belts in hand.

This was by far the best bout of the night with a lot of entertaining spots. Kenny Omega and Chuck Taylor had some brilliant back and forth exchange among them, and a singles match between the current IWGP US Champion and the PWG Champion would be inevitable.

Flip Gordon along with The Bucks was also amazing on the night, all three of them did some of the great high flying spots with Flip being the standout. At one point the Best Friends even bought out a table but Chuckie T and Trent suffered the wrath of a triple superkick and went through the table.

The Elite picked up the win on the night, after hitting they managed to hit the Metlzer Driver into a One-Winged Angel to Flip Gordon for the three count.

Result: The Elite def. Best Friends and Flip Gordon
