#2 Most consecutive losses in PPVs

Rusev was one of the most beloved babyfaces on Smackdown LIVE with his gimmick - Rusev Day. The Bulgarian Brute garnered massive support from everyone around the world. However, in another case of WWE being reluctant to strike when the iron is hot, Rusev Day cooled down and eventually died.

With or without Rusev Day, WWE refused to put Rusev over in PPV matches. It is baffling to comprehend that Rusev has not won a PPV match in more than two years. His last PPV win came against Big Cass via count-out at RoadBlock: End of the Line on December 2016.

Since then, Rusev lost seventeen consecutive PPV matches - the most recent at Fastlane 2019 to the New Day. Rusev is now tied with The Great Khali for the most number of consecutive PPV losses.

With Rusev set to compete in a fatal four-way tag team match, we can expect Rusev to break this record at WrestleMania 35.
