Now, we all know that Finn Balor has been a Universal Champion, becoming the company's first champion, defeating Seth Rollins at Summerslam 2016.

However, due to an injury, the Irishman vacated the title a day later, returning much later, during the Lesnar era.

Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.

With the beast's having such a relaxed schedule, Balor would only get his title rematch two years after winning the gold, in a losing effort to Roman Reigns.

It's a real shame to see that someone who the company had such high hopes for before, now is massively removed from the title picture, and will seemingly stay removed, as long as Lesnar holds the gold.

Hopefully, in the near future, fans will finally be able to witness the former NXT Champion rise up once again, claim the title he so briefly held, and have an actual reign, full of entertaining matches under the era of the Demon.
