Elimination Chamber is just hours away, and WWE has made sure the fans get a treat on the road to WrestleMania. The card for the PPV looks top-notch, with just six matches and all serving a proper purpose.

The WWE Championship match-up features six of the finest talents present in the company today, while the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship makes its debut at the PPV.

Elimination Chamber matches are known to be a delightful experience with some hard-hitting action and gruesome battles. This year's EC match-ups promise the same level of excitement and interest.

With WrestleMania less than two months away, WWE must have some big plans for the event. This is the time when the casual fans start tuning in due to the road to WrestleMania being in full flow.

What surprises could WWE pull out of the hat during the PPV this Sunday?

#3 Sasha Banks turns heel

Sasha Banks 'the Boss', as a heel?

Sasha Banks and Bayley have had a long-standing relationship in WWE. Both of these superstars produced magic during their time in NXT and made a name for themselves by competing in the first ever Iron Man (Woman?) match.

They have found success on the main roster but haven't been able to recreate their NXT success on the big stage. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch are well on their way to main-event WrestleMania, while both these ladies are still stuck fighting the Riott Squad on a weekly basis.

Sasha Banks and Bayley had a short-lived feud last year, which was termed the worst feud of the year by several critics. WWE had no idea what to do with the feud, and it was eventually shelved.

Sasha Banks turning heel and betraying Bayley in their quest to become the first ever tag champs will be a major moment.

#2 The Best Tag Team in the World disintegrates

Shane vs Miz at Mania?
Shane vs Miz at Mania?

Shane McMahon and The Miz formed a tag team last year, and it was one of the most unlikely duos to compete together in WWE. Miz turned babyface for the first time in almost five years, while Shane McMahon won his first ever tag team championship.

Miz and Shane is not a tag team that will stay together for a long time. Their division consists of tag teams like New Day, Usos, Sanity, and the Bar.

It remains to be seen whether Shane turns on the Miz or the other way around, but a blow-off is sure to take place sooner rather than later.

Shane McMahon has competed in every WrestleMania event since his return in 2016, and expect 2019 to be no different. Could he be competing with the Miz? Or could he be competing against him?

#1 Kofi Kingston wins the WWE Championship

As unlikely as it sounds, Kofi Kingston could very well be a strong contender for the WWE Championship this Sunday. The decade-long veteran of WWE, Kofi Kingston, has won every title in WWE apart from the coveted world championship.

Kofi produced a masterclass this Tuesday on SmackDown Live, defeating the current WWE Champion, a former WWE Champion, and a former NXT Champion on the same night.

Kingston is a very out-of-the-box suggestion for the WWE Championship, but he has all the tools to succeed as the champion. He is massively popular due to his Rumble antics and the New Day as a whole are one of the biggest faces in WWE.

If Jinder Mahal can go from losing to Mojo Rawley to winning the WWE Championship in a span of 40 days, why can't Kofi Kingston do the same?
