#2 Rey Mysterio
This past week on Monday Night Raw, Rey Mysterio finally returned from injury after a month-long hiatus. He suffered a shoulder injury at Money in the Bank, moments after he had just won the US Championship. Due to his injury, he was forced to relinquish the title.
Upon return, Mysterio issued an open challenge which would ultimately come back to haunt him. Bobby Lashley answered the challenge, made quick work of Mysterio and absolutely decimated him in a post-match assault.
Given that Mysterio just came back from injury, they probably have nothing worth-while planned for him. He has suffered quite a few injuries lately and his injuries have forced WWE to scrap many story-lines. WWE may be unwilling to trust an injury-prone star like Mysterio, hence they are reluctant to put him in key story-lines.
The chances of Mysterio having a match at Extreme Rules are slim. He could always be a part of a backstage segment or an interview. Unless WWE puts him in an impromptu match, Mysterio is likely to sit out of Extreme Rules.
